Valencia Battle Scene (Inferring)

There has been a bit more going on with Pirate101 lately.

Pieces of Eight Radio just had their second podcast and it was really fun to listen to. They discussed things like Musketeers and Pirate movies/books.

There has been more questions added to the Pirate101 Question Page.

And now for the "Main Focus" of this post!

I was recently watching the Pirate101 game trailer for any cool clues and hints, and I spotted something that I thought I could label...

Does it look pretty accurate to you? It looks a battle scene in Valencia, since that's where the Armada usually are. There's the pirate fighting some type of weird knight or something with a long blade, and it's companion fighting the Armada. And then there is a weird thing floating around, it actually looks like a ship. I am thinking it might be some type of health wisp?

I have been checking out the new areas which are pretty cool. I can't wait to see some areas in Monquista and Valencia!

I have been checking out the mini games, I am pretty sure they will be something like the fairegrounds in Wizard101 to regain a Pirate101 type of mana.

There are so many amazing Pirate101 blogs in the spiral, I just wanted to advertise them all! Check them out at the Links section on this site.

The reason why I don't have a blog roll is that I feel that a page for the blogs will make it more organized.

Anyways... I have been thinking of putting a few new pages/features for this site. Any ideas? Cause I really need them.

It gives a few really cool sneak peaks about the combat on Pirate101, but here is a quick summary of the most interesting points:

Just like in Wizard101, you have option of entering combat or staying on the road and not fighting. Squares with movement similar to a gameboard will then appear in front of you and you will have 30 seconds to move with a special abilities etc.

I think this is going to be really fun, especially with ship combat (although not sure if it's different or not).

A.k.a

Capturing criminal pirates, bringing them back to Valencia, and questioning them. If they don't answer... well let's just say they "walk the plank".

If only he had the sense to just put them in prison or something....

Something is not right about this guy. He wears a creepy white mask, really long white socks, and his hat looks like a weird type of bucket.

As said before though from different blogs and sites, the armada will be the evil we have to fight in Pirate101.
